While his debut album on Poker Flat "In Between" sent Berlin-based producer MARTIN LANDSKY straight into the top ranks of TechHouse artists, this spectacular follow-up single further cements his seat on the olymp. "Mission Upskirt" is a fine piece of sparkling minimalism with it's ultra dry, dead rocking beats, some precise cut-throat synth stabs, swirls and effects plus an expertly crafted, hypnotic build-up that keeps up the pressure for the full 9 minutes and reminds in it's clear structure of early 80's dub as heard on labels like Wackie's etc. Besides a shorter, even more reduced edit of "Mission Upskirt" there's also "He's Gone" on the flip: another rocker with deep, old-school organ chords and hyper-active, percussive rhythm.
